Chocolate Slice
Ingredients
1 Cup Oats
1 Cup Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
1 Cup LSA
5 Tbsp Peanut Butter
5 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1/2 Cup Cranberries
1/2 Cup Raisins
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
2 Eggs, beaten
200g Dark Chocolate
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees celcius. Grease or line a medium sized baking tray
2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
3. In a seperate microwaveable bowl, combine the Agave and Peanut Butter and heat in a microwave for about 15-20 seconds or until runny.
4. Add the runny mixture to the dry mixture along with the eggs and combine.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tray and level with a spatula.
6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly, leaving in the baking tray.
8. While cooling, melt the chocolate in a microwave proof bowl.
9. Pour and evenly spread the chocolate over the slice. Allow to cool further, then place in the fridge until chocolate has set hard.
10. Divide the slice into small squares and bars.
Peak Nutrition Tip:
I add a layer of peanut butter before adding the chocolate.
